Bill F. Taylor died December 29, 2004, at his home in Williamson Valley.  He was born March 6, 1931, in Loma Linda, California, the son of Frank Lindsay and Wilma Jane (Benson) Taylor.  Bill was 73 years old.   Bill and his family moved to Prescott in1940, where he attended school and worked on ranches around Prescott in his teens.  Bill proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a gunner in TBM-3 from 1948 to 1952 during the Korean Conflict.   His aviation career was with just one airline?he never changed jobs.  The airline he was a pilot for just kept changing names and expanding; it began with Bonanza, then Hughes Airwest, Republic, and lastly became Northwest Airlines, the airline he retired from.   Bill enjoyed flying; gunsmithing; making rifle stocks; playing billiards; and hunting, fishing, and camping in the Prescott area.  He was a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge #330.  The loves of Bill?s life were Barbara, his wife of 31 years, and his family.   Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Prescott; daughters:  Wynona (Dan) MacDonald of Idieyld Park, Oregon, Cynthia (Bill) Zellmer of Mancos, Colorado, Enola Eastman of Willard, Utah, Sue Ellen Manuel of Prescott, Arizona; and Rhonda (Matt) Urban of Monroe, Wisconsin; his sister, Jackie (Larry) Goldston of Riviera, Arizona, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.  Bill was preceded in death by sons, Jerry and Frank.   A Gathering of Friends will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 8, 2005, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home at the corner of Cortez and Carleton in Prescott.  Concluding services will be private internment with his sons at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.   The family suggests memorials in his name to YRMC Hospice, Restricted Fund, P. O. Box 26565, Prescott, Arizona  86313.
