Cheryl Anne Sanders, 68, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, passed away on December 3, 2021.  Cheryl was born in Tacoma, Washington on December 11, 1952 and was the daughter of Elinas Odell and Bertha Olson Totten.  She was married to Fred Sanders on June 25, 1983.  After her retirement in March of 2021, Fred and Cheryl moved to Prescott Valley, Arizona. 

Cheryl spent many of her years as a loving wife, and mother to her two sons and three stepsons. She was employed as the Church Administrator for Holy Cross Church in Ojai, CA and more recently at Peace Lutheran Church in Camarillo, CA. 

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Fred Sanders and her two sons, Andy (Moriya) Fuchs, Eric (Kathy) Fuchs and three stepsons, Rick (Norma) Sanders, Fred (Connie) Sanders and Mike Sanders, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister, Lois Allen, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Totten and her parents.   

A Celebration of Life will take place at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1202 Green Lane, Suite A, Prescott, AZ on Friday, December 17th at 11:00 am. The service will be available by Live Stream. 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, The Salvation Army or the American Heart Association.
