Edgar Davis Locke

Edgar Davis Locke, died September 30, 2007 at his home in Prescott. He was born July 17, 1914 in Ozark Arkansas the son of Cecil Earl and Mae Davis Locke. Edgar was 93 years old.   Edgar lived most of his life in Southern California with his loving family while working for Douglas Aircraft for 44 years. He moved to Prescott in 1995. Edgar was an avid coin collector and baseball fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family.   He is survived by his son James Locke, daughters; Janice Locke, Marianne Locke (Bob Moore) and daughter-in-law Mary Locke; granddaughters; Michelle, Fahidy, Karen Locke-White and Dawn Johnson; and grandsons; Royce Locke, Thomas and Christopher Moore; and 9 great grandchildren. Edgar was preceded in death by his wife Alice, son, Daniel, granddaughter, Robin Locke and daughter-in-law; Willodeen Locke.   A reflection of his concern for others he requested in lieu of  flowers memorials to the Yavapai Food Bank 8400 E.
