Elayna C. Eddins

Elayna C. Eddins,68, passed away on February 22, 2015 at Marley House in Prescott, AZ. She was born December 23, 1946 to Earl W. and Norma Jean (Townsend) Eddins in Buckhannon, W.V. where she also attended grade school. Elayna attended Jr. High School in Jacksonville, FL and High School in Kansas City, MO. She graduated with honors and achievements. She started employment in Kansas City, Mo at Hallmark Cards Inc. then became the secretary and bookkeeper for her father’s moving company. Elayna purchased and worked on a farm in the Piedmont Lakes Region of Ohio where she also provided assisted healthcare for her parents and had a bait and tackle shop/mom and pop grocery store. After her father’s passing, Elayna and her mother moved to Chino Valley, AZ where Elayna worked at Buckaroo Market, Stockman’s Bank and Iron Horse Café. She then accepted a position at Territorial Elementary School working with special needs children. It was there that she met and formed a strong with one student in particular A.J. Faulkner. A.J’s parents asked her to accompany him to Heritage Middle School where she worked until her medical leave.
