Emroy Berns

EMROY BERNS (Ed) Ed passed away on March 8, 2018 in Prescott Valley, Arizona of a massive heart attack,
with his beloved wife of 62 years, Janice Berns by his side. Ed and Janice have shared their home in Prescott Valley for 26 years and had previously
lived in California. Emroy Berns (Ed), age 82 was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 25, 1935 to
Emroy and Anne (Kremarik) Berns who preceded him in death along with his son
Robert, sister Beverly and brother Billy. He is survived by his wife, Janice, daughter Kathleen and her fiancee Richard, and his
son Edward and his wife Lori. Ed is survived by his loving grand children Bob Allen,
Kayla and husband Andrew, Kenneth, Ryan and Rachel and a great granddaughter
Cheyanne. Ed is also survived by his loving sister Barbara and her husband Bill . Ed was in the Air Force and served at Scott AFB, Illinois and finished at Williams AFB,
Arizona. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct
Medal. He retired from North American Rockwell and from Southern California Edison.
Ed loved to learn new things, loved boats, the water, car racing and loved working with
his hands building crafts and gardening .. Ed and Janice enjoyed traveling and family
gatherings. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who's wisdom and love will be
greatly missed. Rest in peace my love, Janice
