Florence C. Jones

Florence C. Jones, died June 16, 2006 at her home in Prescott. She was born October 1, 1923 in Prescott. Florence was the dauther of Willie and Rosie (Kwail) Charles. Florence was 82 years old.   Florence was a revered elder of the Yavapai Prescott Indian Tribe. She helped tribal leaders maintain the cultural and traditions of the tribe. She worked hard all her life even into her mid-seventies. Florence was a very quiet traditional  Yavapai. She was a caring, protective and very proud mother of her seven children that lived to adulthood. She enjoyed being with  her animals, especially her cats. In her later years she enjoyed traveling..     Florence is survived by daughters Kathy (Javier Ramirez), Lenora (Terrance Manuel) Delores; sons Ernie (Janet) and Isaac all of Prescott. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by her daughters; Lorraine, Diane and Loralyn and sons; Chester and Kenneth
