Forest Brownie Brown

Forest "Brownie? Brown, 71, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at the Ft. Whipple V.A. Medical Center Hospice Ward, in Prescott, Arizona. He was born September 26, 1933, in South Hope, Maine, the son of Ralph and Eugina Belle (Jones) Brown.   Brownie served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.   He was honorably discharged in November of 1955. He was an owner of an automobile dealership for many years and had a passion for cars, especially vintage cars.  He was a member of the NASCAR association and the Grand National Auto Racing Association, as Brownie loved auto racing. He was proud of his many racing victories and championships as well as his military service in Korea.   Brownie is survived by Joyce Costa, his loving companion of 17 years, daughters and son-in-law; Ruth and Ron Jackson-Estrada and Judy Jean Guess-Parenteau both of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by his grandchildren:  Jeremy, Michael, Elizabeth, Nathaniel and Virginia.   Brownie was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Randy J. Brown.  A private cremation will be held at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley and a graveside service will be held at the Skull Valley Cemetery on January 8, 2005, at 2:00 p.m..  A long time friend, John Pratt, will be officiating.
