Francis Mark Day

Mark was the youngest of three children. His father was a minister in the First Christian Church in Missouri. He graduated from Buffalo High School in 1952; and attended Southwest Missouri State in Springfield. Mark served in the United States Navy, Ninth Naval District in California in the late 1950?s. After a career in electronics in the San Francisco Bay area, he and Sonia retired to Prescott in 2002 to be near their family. Mark dearly loved his family and people. He embraced life to the full enjoyment. Mark will be missed greatly and he will be loved forever. The hearts of a family are always connected. Mark is lovingly survived by his wife of 34 years, Sonia; his children Mark A. Day of La Center, WA, Roger and his wife Kathryn Cline of Prescott, AZ and Donna and her husband Mitchell Elkins of Redlands, CA; his grandchildren, Annika, Thea, Michael and Alex. He is also survived by his sisters, Norma Muhleman of Florissant, MO and Vivian and her husband Don Vishino of House Springs, MO.
