Frank Bell

Frank Bell, 86, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 in Prescott, Arizona.  He was born in San Francisco, California.

During his life Frank enjoyed a variety of jobs.  As a child he worked at a family friends junkyard. At 17, with permission from his mother, he enlisted in the Navy and served during the Korean War.  After his service, he worked on a railroad in Montana, at Food Machinery Corp. and canneries in California, as a San Francisco taxi driver, as a psychiatric technician, as an RN at the San Quentin Prison infirmary, several advisory board positions relating to health care, and many more interesting roles.   

Frank graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in nursing, specializing in Veterans with PTSD and other psychiatric problems.  He and his future wife Janet met while they both worked as RN’s at the Palo Alto, California VA.  Frank retired as a Nursing Supervisor from the Menlo Park, California VA.

Frank loved his family, friends, swimming, walking for exercise, riding motorcycles, reading, current events, traveling, target shooting, the political climate in Arizona, and conservative values.  He was a kind, gentle, funny, and happy man and is greatly missed by his loving family.    

Frank is survived by his wife Janet, son Anthony, daughter Jennifer (Dale), grandchildren Jessica, Sarah, Brandon, and Johnathan.
