Glen Dever Whitcanack

Glen Dever Whitcanack, a World War II Veteran, passed away on January 18, 2015 at the VA Hospice in Prescott. He was born August 27, 1927 the son of James A & Stella Whitcanack. Glen was 87 years old. Glen married Virginia Maxine Bentley on April 30, 1950 and they shared many happy years together. Glen moved to California in 1965 to join Happyholme Farms in Lodi California as sales manager. After it burned down in 1978, he purchased a mill in Turlock. They sold the business and purchased Marty's Inn Steak house in Newman, CA and operated it until 1993 when they sold it to retire and travel. He enjoyed showing Palomino horses, raising world champion Charolaise bulls, spending time on his 42 ft. yacht and traveling in their bus. Glen is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia and son Robert Whitcanack. Survivors are sons Glen Jr (Sharon) of Galt Ca, Bentley Whitcanack of Prescott, Az, and daughters Laurie Jo Whitcanack of Casseville, MO and Debbie Windeler (Ed) of Prescott, Az, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
