Gregory M. Monroe

Gregory M. Monroe, died May 6, 2008 at YRMC in Prescott, Valley, Arizona. He was born July 25, 1977 in Phoenix, Arizona the son of Paul W. and Eileen M. (Cooney) Monroe. Greg was 30 years old.   Greg was raised in Prescott, where he graduated from Prescott High School. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Oasis. Special Olympics in bowling, basketball and field and track, in Santa Barbara and Prescott Valley.   Greg enjoyed Diamondback games, playing basketball, visiting with his brothers, trips to Disneyland, and especially the trips to Ireland and Mazatlan. He was proudest of his gold medal for Special Olympics in Bowling and his vegetable garden.    Greg is survived by his mother, Eileen Martin, father, Paul Monroe, both of Prescott; his brothers; Christopher, of Chino Valley, David of Mesa and Kevin of Prescott.
