Harold E Carney

Harold E. Carney died on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at his home in Prescott, Arizona.  Born on June 6, 1923 in Saginaw, Michigan, he was the son of Alfred  and  Dorothy (Thompson) Carney.  He was 85 years old.   Harold was a pilot in the military, serving over thirty years for his country.  He loved flying and playing golf.   Harold is survived by his children, Tim (Wendy) Carney, and Rob (Terry) Strong; grandchildren Brigid, Bryan, Ryan, Chelsea, and Angela; eight great grandchildren; brother, Pat (Sue) Carney; and his loving friend, Geneva Bush. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mildred; brothers Chuck and Don Carney; and his parents.   A Memorial Service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2008,  at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.  Services at his residence, The Peridot, are pending.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Yavapai Regional Medical Center Hospice Restricted Fund, 1003 Willow Creek Road, Prescott AZ, 86301.
