James ?Sandman? Sleeper, 24, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004 in Prescott Valley, AZ. He was born May 6, 1980 in Grants, New Mexico, the son of Jimmie and Rhonda (Landrum) Sleeper. Later that year the family moved to Prescott Valley. After completing high school, James started working in the construction field as a carpenter. James enjoyed working with his hands building things out of wood. He loved spending time with his family and friends. James was proud of his two beautiful boys. In his short life, James was able to develop friendships and had the ability to communicate with all types of people. James is survived by his loving and caring wife of 5 years, Katie McIntosh. He is also survived by his two sons Ian Troy and Joshua William Sleeper both of Prescott Valley, his father Jimmie Sleeper of Prescott Valley and his mother Rhonda Buttler of Pima, AZ. He is also survived by his brothers; Jonus Dupelachain of Prescott, AZ, Joshua Hinderlitgher of Prescott, Jason McCormick, Larry, Troy and Scott McIntosh and Chris Fields of Prescott, AZ. Sisters, Rene Sleeper of Pima, AZ, Christa Winchester of Pima, AZ, Samantha Buttler of Pima, AZ and Tammy McIntosh of Prescott, AZ. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2005 at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton streets in Prescott. A Celebration of James? life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2005 at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home with Mr. Ken Frederick, Celebrant officiating. A private cremation will be at Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel in Prescott Valley.
