Jo Anne Gipe

JoAnne Gipe went to be with her Lord on Feb. 3, 2013 from her home at the Rio Verde Ranch in Paulden, Ariz. JoAnne was an Arizona native, born at Fort Huachuca, Ariz. on Feb. 4, 1927. She grew up at the Saguaro Vista Ranch, outside of Tucson, Ariz. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 1948 with a pre-med degree. After marrying her sweetheart, David Gipe, she moved to Yuma, Ariz. and helped raise a family of four children. David and JoAnne moved to Yavapai County in 1973, to the Rio Verde Ranch. They have resided there full time since 1984. JoAnne is survived by her husband of 64 years, David. She is also survived by her four children, Anne (Don) Verner of Paulden, Ariz., Jacque Radke of Phoenix, Ariz., Daniel (Billie) Gipe of Kingman, Ariz. and Catherine Behan of Prescott, Ariz. JoAnne is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2110 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, AZ 86301.
