John Benjamin Burnett

John died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Good Samaritan's Marley House hospice in Prescott, Arizona. He was born April 30, 1932 in Erie, Pennsylvania; the son of John and Ruth Burnett. John was 81 years old. He served in the United States Marine Corps, married the love of his life, Roberta (Jeanne) Lee on June 29, 1957, raised four chidlren. For the last 12 years John was a manager for a local winery. He enjoyed playing baseball, salmon fishing, bowling, watersking, camping, and boating. He was very proud of his family and his baseball career. John is survived by his wife, Jeanne; children Ron (Pam) Burnett of san Jose, CA, Steve (Donna) Burnett of Suisun City, CA, Tom (Grace) Burnett of Hollister, CA, Bob (Chrintina) Burnett of Walden, NY; grandchildren Josh, Matt, Scott, Ben, Ray, Adrian, Shawn; great-grandchildren Christian and Delila. He is also survived by his brothers Alan (Dale) Burnett, Bernard Burnett and sister Mollie Smith.
