John Edward Deming

John Edward Deming

John Edward Deming, 74, died Friday, October 5, 2007 at Prescott Valley Samaritan Care Center.  He was born September 13, 1933 in Pajaro, California the son of John and Mabel (Taylor) Deming.   John was a Chevron dealer for over 45 years, and long time Prescottonians will remember the Chevron stations that John owned and managed.  He collected western art and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating - especially at Alamo lake.  He also could be found at the horse races and owned race horses for a short time.   He is survived by his former wife of 51years, Rose Marie, his six sons; John Mark (Carol), Howard Neal, David Wayne (Lisa), Jeffrey Owen, Raymond Keith, and Paul Joseph (Kim); sister Shirley Farmer of Brawley, California and 14 grandchildren.  A daughter, Mary Eva and a sister, Helen, preceded him in death.   Contributions in John?s memory may be made to the American Heart Association (donate.americanheart.org).
