Lester Lloyd ?Les? Grell, 69, died Sunday, July 9, 2006 at his home in Chino Valley, Arizona. He was born August 11, 1936 in Dewitt, Iowa; the son of Lester F. and M. Keith (McMain) Grell. Les was a member of the Chino Valley United Methodist Church and the Emmaus community. After the death of his first wife Patricia Mae in 1999 and later met and married Donna Von Ehrenkrook on May 20, 2000. Les enjoyed horses, camping, boating and team penning.  He was proud of his volunteering for the Chino Valley Food Bank and his family. Les is survived by his loving and caring wife of 6 years; Donna of Chino Valley, children and their spouses; Elizabeth Ann and Charles Wilson of Tucumcari, New Mexico, Kevin Grell of Chino Valley, Arizona, and Brian and Michelle Grell of Gulfport, Mississippi. Brother and sister-in-law; Allan and Julie Grell of Chino Valley, Arizona and Judy Whitaker of Queen Creek, Arizona. His grandchildren; Melissa, Miranda, Michael, Nicole, Erin, Austin, Ryan, Kami and Kyle, great-grandchildren; Jasmyne, Ashley, Marcus, Christopher, Joseph, Kile, Chloe, Isaac. Les is also survived by his mother ?Keith? Grell. Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton Streets. A celebration of Les?s life will be 10:00 a.m. at Chino Valley United Methodist Church in Chino Valley, burial will follow at Chino Valley Cemetery.   The family suggests contributions be made in Les?s name to the Chino Valley Food Bank, 1943 North Voss Dr., Chino Valley, Arizona 86323
