Marc Leroy Dimmer

Marc LeRoy Dimmer went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 18, 2021. He was born in North Dakota but moved out to Arizona when he was three years old, growing up in Glendale, where he was the only son of his parents to graduate from high school. He was a master auto painter for over 30 years and was considered to be one of the top ten painters in California during this career. He was very talented and artistic, creating professional glass etchings and auto body graphic designs. He excelled at anything he found interest in, including becoming a black belt in martial arts, but his great love was being a guitarist and being involved in the Worship teams at Prescott Christian Church and Prescott Valley Christian Church. He was also part of a professional Eagles tribute band, South of Winslow, and realized a lifetime dream of being able to perform at the International Lion’s club annual conference in Honolulu, Hawaii.   Marc married his wife, Helen, in the spring of 2001, and anyone who knew them knew that they were inseparable. They resided for over twenty years in Prescott Valley, Arizona, and shared a love of music and performing together. Marc is survived by Helen and also by their shared family: his son, Aaron, who lives in Colorado with his wife, Patricia and daughter Lilian; his daughter, Sarah Edwards, who lives in Alaska with her husband Jason and daughter Noelle; and three stepchildren: Chris Ames and wife Lindsay and their five children: Dylan, Connor, Kaydence, Jude and Zoe; stepdaughter Vanessa Hom and her husband Richard and their children Emily and Eric; and stepson Justin Ames and wife Kate and their three children: Clara, Elijah, and Benjamin. Marc is also survived by three sisters: Pat Nations, Darlene Felkins and husband Rick, and Susanne Dimmer. Marc was kind and good hearted, and a celebration of his life will be held on October 3, 2021 at 12:30 at Prescott Valley Christian Church, 7655 E. Long Look Dr., Prescott Valley, Az.
