Marietta Eloise Norby

Marietta E. Norby, 82, died Friday, May 13, 2005 at Meadow Park Care Center in Prescott, Arizona. She was born October 30, 1922 in Bradford Township, Wisconsin; the daughter of Viggo and Gladys (Robeson) Christiansen. Marietta moved to Prescott from Wisconsin three years ago.  She was a member of the Audubon Society would spend hours counting various types of birds in her region for the society. Marietta enjoyed sewing, cake decorating which she did for the enjoyment it brought her as well as the profits. She also enjoyed crafts which she would share with her family. Marietta was proudest of her family and the many accomplishments they shared with her. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Rosella and Dale Lewis of Chino Valley, AZ, brothers and sister-in-law; Lewis Christiansen of S. Milwaukee, WI and Vernon and Frances Christiansen of Milwaukee, WI and her sisters and brother-in-law; Thyra and Redney Zurk of Millston, WI, and Ethel Olsen of Blair, Nebraska. Grandchildren; LaNita, Lain, Latham, Tracy, Stacy and Jody; and her great grandchildren; Bethany, Lindley, Anthony, Brendan, Jacqueline, Ian, Rebekka, Cindy, Justin, Ashley and Nicole . Marietta was preceded in death by three husbands; Arthur L. Langklotz, Robert P. Hanson and Arnie P. Norby and her only son, Ronald A. Hanson. A private cremation will be held at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley, Arizona. A family gathering will be held later this summer.
