Kelley, Marvin Gene
84, of Prescott, AZ, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 28, 2016. He was born December 16, 1931 in Mitchell, Indiana, to Ardena L. Kelley and Hattie P. (Cary) Kelley.
His marriage of 65 years with the love of his life, MaryAnn F. Gross, began on July 21, 1951. Mary Ann preceded him in death in 2013. Surviving are his children Lynn (Jerry) Lowe, Dianne Kelley Carr, Susanne (Kevin) Trovini, Kevin (Laura) Kelley, Marvin (Tina) Kelley, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.  
Marvin had many hobbies, to include woodworking, gardening (creating a garden at home aptly named "Ivy Pines"), avid walker, camping and traveling throughout the U.S. and Germany. Mainly concentrating on nearly every square inch of Arizona, his love for the state was always increasing during the 69 years he resided here. His knowledge of Arizona and its history was astounding. He also participated in serving with Perpetual Adoration at Sacred Heart Parish in Prescott for many years, as well as volunteering with SS. Simon & Jude Cathedral in Phoenix, working with teens and calling bingo for many years.
Marvin was very proud of the loving relationships that he built with his wife Mary Ann and God. A visitation will be held for Marvin at Ruffner Wakelin Prescott Chapel, 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott, AZ on Thursday, August 4th from 4-6 pm with a Rosary to follow at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Germaine Catholic Church, 7997 E. Dana Dr., Prescott Valley, AZ at 11:00 am on Friday, August 5th, 2016 with a burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Cottonwood.
