Mary Louise Holcomb – Nalbone – O’Brien. “Weiser” Arrived on this plane of existence October 8th, 1937, Warren, Pennsylvania. December 26, 2021, Prescott Valley, Arizona. Her last wishes were to pass in her home, in her own bed, with her constant companion cat at her side, Emily. She did.

Christmas 2018. Mom, Front Row, third from the left. She told me, after the above picture was taken, with a smile, “I did this.”

Daughter of Harold Howard Holcomb, and Mary Isobel Myers. Survived by Siblings: John Holcomb & Judy, Lois and Fred Schaeffer. Mr and Mrs. Michael & Colleen Nalbone, Son Jeremy, Stepdaughter Jessica Gable: Ggrandson Moises, GGranddaugter Arabella, Richard, GGrandson: Richard II. Mrs. and Mr. Michelle and Claude Short: Carla Flading / Sellner: Georgia, Ryland, Cameron, Cadon. Heidi: Ggrandson Avery, Ggrandaugter Ava, Brian: Ggranddaughters Emily and Isabell, Ggrandson Seth., Mrs. & Mr. Mary Jo and Mitchell Skinner, Joshua Shafor & Lisa: Ggrandsons: Jace, Jax, and Jett. Gina Skinner, Ggranddaughters Nicole, Megan, Ggrandson Devon, Ggranddaughter Lilly. Valerie and Ggrandson Jordan, Precious & Michael Williams: Ggrandson Michael, Gggrandaughters Anjolina and Niyell. Jessica: Ggrandaughters: Mackenzie, Mikaela, and Airelyn. And Mr. and Mrs. Catherine Armstrong & Michael, Jeramy Richardson: Gggrandson Toby, Rebecca Richardson: Gggrandaughters Cordelia and Desi.

Weiser spent the first several years of her life running barefoot in the back country of Warren, Pennsylvania, mucking horses for the privilege of riding one bare back. She married John William Nalbone August 27, 1955. She raised their four children with love and guidance. There was not a prejudice bone in her body. She took in three Foster Daughters and was “Mom” to many of the children on “Swede Hill, Jamestown, New York. In between raising her children and the add-on’s she enjoyed Belly Dancing, Synchronized Swimming, and Snowmobiling. Joe was her beloved horse she rode from 1982 to 1983. She and her first husband were big fans of Square Dancing. Weiser had fourteen Dollhouses, one dollhouse garage, and a model Pontoon Boot. She enjoyed finding and displaying her miniature collectibles. Her Bugs Bunny and Mary Englebright collections were huge. She never had too many books, only never enough bookshelves. She enjoyed Needle Point and Embroidery. Crosswords puzzles were difficult to stump her, be prepared for her to win every Scrabble game.

Albert O Brien, her husband of 24 years, 50 weeks, shared her years from 1985 until his passing in April 2011. They traveled across the county and back several times showing and sharing each other’s childhood homes.

Final resting place will be with Albert, at the National Memorial Cemetery, Cave Creek, Arizona
