Mildred Marie Mathern

Mildred Marie Mathern died Thursday, July 13, 2017 peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones.
   Born in 1924 in Garwin, Iowa, to Edwin and Bertha Aldrich.  She married the love of her life, Dale Franklin Mathern on June 17, 1947 and resided  in Garwin until 1972 when the family moved to Mayer, Arizona.  Mildred worked for the Mayer School District until retirement.
   Mildred was a devoted Catholic member of St. Josephs Catholic Church.
   She is survived by her children; Kathy Mathern, Mike (Betty) Mathern, Larry (Pattie) Mathern, Mark (Earleen) Mathern, Chris (Kim) Mathern, Beth Mathern, and son-in-law John Sanders.  Mildred was also blessed with numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
   She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale, daughters, Carol Sanders and Barb Mathern, and her parents.
