Oscar Frank Fischang

Oscar F. Fischang, 89, died June 16, 2005 at Samaritan Village in Prescott. He was born January 8, 1916 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Oscar and Marie Keil Fischang. He married Kathleen Scheetz Dec. 24, 1939. Oscar worked as an optician, and owned and operated his own optical shop with his father for many years. He was a dedicated Christian and worked for 25 years distributing Bibles with the Gideons. He was also an avid bowler, and enjoyed many happy times at the bowling alley. Oscar is survived by his loving wife, Kay; two children, Sheryl (Jim) Hunnell of Prescott and Edward Fischang of Manson, Wash; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be on Wed., July 6 , 11:00 a.m. at Word of Life Assembly of God, 2200 N. Highway 89, Prescott. Entombment took place in Greenwood Cemetery, San Diego. Local arrangements were handled by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home.
