Paul Raymond Smith

Paul Raymond Smith died on Friday, August 1, 2008, at the VA Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona.  Born on March 28, 1923, in Secaucus, New Jersey, he was the son of Willard F. & Iwa E. (Ewh) Smith.  He was  85 years old. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn (Cann) Smith; daughter, Lynn (John) Simmons; son, Scott (Claire) Smith; grandchildren, Jennifer, Darlene, Jessica, and Pamela; sister, Beverly (Jack) Mier.  Paul was a retired WWII Navy veteran, serving his country on the destroyer Thatcher.  He was a member of archery clubs, golf clubs and the VFW in Waterloo, New York.  He loved golfing, fishing, hunting, and gardening.  He was proudest of his family and his service to his country.
