Randy Downing

Randy died April 17, 2007 in California, were he was working. He was born April 6, 1954 in Decorah, Iowa the son of Rexford and Helen (Mickelson) Downing. Randy was 53 years old. Randy had a strong work ethic,  working 50 to 60 hours a week. He loved coming home on the weekends when he and Angela could enjoy the beauty of Arizona backroads and off road terrain in either the jeep or on their quads. He looked forward to RV traveling and seeing the rest of America with his best friend Angela.   He was a hard working blue collar man with an elegance and grace.  A big man with a matching tender heart who always saw the positive side of life.  Randy was the epitomy of dependiblity, he was there for family and friends whenever needed.   He is survived by his wife, Angela, they were married November 22, 2003, his daughters; Anita (Danny) Jones of Cottonwood, AZ and Alexis Downing of Phoenix, AZ, brother Rexford of Wisconsin and sister, Robin (Mike) Steele of Georgia; grandchildren; Aaron, George, Gabrial and Joaquin. He was proudest of his daughters, grandchildren and especially his relationship with Angela.
