Richard Dean Ostler

Richard was born April 22, 1927, the son of Jonathan Platt and Edith (Thompson) Ostler in Jerome, Indiana. Richard was a United States Army veteran of WWII. He married the former Florene Helen Gilbert on March 7, 1944. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Florene; Children and their spouses, Richard of Ruidoso, NM., James (Kaye) of Williams, AZ., Sheryl (Allan) Gillespie of Camp Verde, AZ. and Layne (terry) of CampVerde, AZ. Grandchildren, Doug, Marlene, Scott, Bryan, Mark, Clint, Brandon, Steven, Layne and Eric and 18 great granchildren. He was a member of the Church of Jesu Christ of  Latter Day Saints, Williams Ward, Williams,  AZ. He loved golfing and fishing and was most proud of his family. Celebration of Life Service was October 5, 2005 in the Church of the Latter Day Saints, Williams Ward, Williams, AZ. Interment was in the Williams Cemetery.
