Robert W. "Bob" Ledbetter

Robert Walton Ledbetter came into this world on November 11th 1963
The same day That Gordie Howe tied Rocket Richard's 544 Lifetime Goals Scored! I only mention this because Bob Loved Hockey! Our neighbors can attest to this! They let us know many times they could hear inside their house with their doors & windows closed while he was watching his favorite team, the LA Kings. On the night Bob was born, my parents had dinner at a Mexican restaurant, later that night my mother complained of stomach pains but she passed it off has gas. My father says “no I think it’s time to go to the hospital” 30 minutes after arriving at the hospital, Bob graced us with his presence. All 10 and a quarter pounds! I was 3 at the time and remember being on a hunting trip with my grandparents. Hunting would play a big part in Bob's life! Bob from a young age was a dedicated hunter. And in his later life he was a guide for various hunting trips Elk, Deer. Mountain Lions and Javelinas Bob also became a Taxidermist winning several accolades from many organizations including the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Several of his award-winning mounts are still featured in Arizona Museums. Bob held records for both Cous Deer and Elk! Bob was a natural athlete, excelling in Basketball and Baseball Bob left us Wednesday December 5th, 2018 at his home in Seligman Arizona Bob is survived by his Father Bill Ledbetter, Mama Kay of San Antonio Texas, Daughter Kayla Ledbetter Johnson of Seligman AZ, Grandson Gunner of Seligman AZ, Niece Danielle Patterson of Prescott Valley AZ and Brother David Ledbetter of Phoenix AZ. Various Uncles, Nieces and Nephews Bob was a friend you could count on and an incredible son, Loving Father and Grandfather, adored Uncle and the Best Brother Ever! He will be missed by all and remain in our hearts forever!
