Rose Marie Keel

Born May 25, 1933 in a little house in Fondis, CO in Elbert County, Colorado. Her brother Richard and her daughters Connie, Karen and Cindy, as well as her four grandchildren and six great grandchildren survive her. 

Birthdays, holidays, and family meant a great deal to Rose; she loved cooking, baking and celebrating those special days. In her later years, she was busy compiling genealogy notebooks – discovering, contacting and meeting family members from all over the country. 

After many years of devoting herself to her home and children, she divorced and went to work for Yavapai County both in the Treasurer’s and Assessor’s offices. 

She was forced to retire when congestive heart failure struck. Against all odds shelived on for another forty years. Rose left us on March 4, 2020.  If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Connie at (928) 379-3283.
