Rosemarie Buchanan

Rosemarie Buchanan, 79, born May 31, 1932 in New York City, was mercifully taken home by our loving and gracious Lord, on October 20, 2011. Although her family and friends desired her to remain a little longer, we know that \"precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.\" (Ps. 116:15) She leaves behind, her sister, Annabel Childers; her children, Kathy Larsen (Randy), Karen Ortiz (Fred), Doug Wierson, and Diane Primm; stepchildren, David (Chris), Billy, Janet (Terry), Kevin (Carol), and Connie; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends, who loved her and will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, and her parents, Henry and Helen Gunther. She was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, a retired secretary and an active member of her church. There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 7763 E. Long Look Dr., in Prescott Valley, AZ. Interment will be Friday, October 28, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. in Phoenix. The family was assisted by the Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel in Prescott Valley, AZ.
