Sheila Fields (Lockwood) also known by the cherished nicknames of Weasel and Memaw. Sheila was born March 7, 1939 in North Retford, England. She passed from this life with the wings of an angel on March 9, 2023. Sheila is preceded in death by her husband Billy C. Fields, mother Margaret Alice Hird and sister Margaret Guilliat. Sheila passed in her home at Chino Valley, Arizona after a brief illness surrounded by loved ones. She leaves behind two daughters Sharon (Thomas) Lauderback of Chino Valley, Arizona, Beverly (Kent) Jackson of Asheboro, North Carolina, and one son Michael Fields of Maple Valley, Washington. Her grandchildren Stephanie Lauderback, Sarah Lauderback, James Lauderback and four great grandchildren Madison Lauderback, Braxton Lauderback, Isaiah Shaw and Elijah Shaw.
Sheila was an avid lover of flowers and worked for many years as a florist. She also loved animals and would never allow one to go unloved or unfed. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Homemakers. Sheila was a proud USAF wife and loved to travel and make new friends. The thing that brought her the greatest joy though was the love of her family. Sheila had a great faith in our Lord and lived her life to reflect that to others. She had a zest for fun and loved to laugh and make others laugh.
There will be a Celebration of Life tentatively Mid-June. Details to follow.
