Tammy Lynn Cortez

Tammy Lynn Cortez of Paulden died, June 6, 2007 as a result of a car accident. She was born July 13, 1963 in Van Nuys, California the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Cortez. Tammy was 43 years old.   Tammy enjoyed variety in her life. She did arts and crafts, loved to go camping, enjoyed wild life and just being a free spirit. Tammy enjoyed her work with the Chamber of Commerce in Chino Valley, and coaching a softball team. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always ready to tell or listen to a joke. She made many friends during her days in Chino Valley and Paulden. She was formerly from Las Vegas, but fell in love with Arizona. She came to visit in Chino Valley and never returned to Las Vegas. She was proudest of her native American and Hispanic heritage.   Tammy is survived by her parents; sister, Debra (Ron) Kimball, niece, Tausha and nephew, Ron, grandmother, Juanita, and many aunts, uncles and cousins..
