Wayne Victor Lang, of Prescott, Arizona, born January 9, 1931, Chicago, Illinois, passed away March 20, 2016.

Wayne was a loving husband to Joan Fairchild Lang who passed on December 6, 2012, in Prescott, Arizona. They were married for 62 years. Wayne and Joan raised three sons Mark Philip Lang, David Wayne Lang, and Neal Steven Lang. He is also survived by his sisters Marlene Lang (Bryant) Wreza and Barbara (Ralph) Thiemann; and six grandchildren Noah (Elizabeth) Lang, Briana Lang, Barret (Karrie) Lang, Audrey Lang, Melanie Lang, and Garnette Lang; and one great-grand-daughter Lexington Joan Lang.

Wayne was a first generation born US citizen of Wanda Zurek Gajewski Lang and George Gajewski and step-father Herman Lang. He attended Wright Jr. College, Chicago Evangelistic Institute (Vennard College), Moody Bible Institute, Lutheran Brethren Seminary-Minnesota, University of Wisconsin at Platteville, Wisconsin, and Evangelical Theological Seminary - Naperville, Illinois.  Wayne earned degrees in Sociology and Secondary Education in Music in 1963, and Master of Theology/Divinity in 1966. He was an ordained United Methodist Minister.

Wayne and Joan enjoyed their time after retirement by moving to Prescott, Arizona where they owned their very first home. They spent many hours cultivating their gardens to be spectacular in beauty. They further enjoyed themselves taking many cruises around the world enjoying God's wondrous works of beauty and humanity. Both remained ardent workers at the churches they attended in Prescott and the many ministries that called them to share their faith.

If desired, donations can be made in memory of Wayne V. Lang to the Willow Hills Baptist Church music program. Wayne and Joan were both musicians spreading the gospel through music and song.
