Winona Lihau Bruhn

Winona Lihau Bruhn passed away at her home in Paulden Arizona on the morning of March 20, 2008 she was 71 years old. Winona was a resident of Arizona for 32 years. Winona was born in Honolulu Hawaii August 7, 1936 to Henry & Ruby Kahoiwai.  Winona married husband of  48  years Edward R. Bruhn on April 11, 1959. Winona had four beautiful children with Edward during their marriage. Winona enjoyed bowling, bingo, and most of all spending time with her family. Winona was proudest of her children and grandchildren. Winona Liahu Bruhn was survived by Husband- Edward R. Bruhn, Children & Spouses- Edlynne Bruhn & Sandy Ledvora of Batavia, Illinois, Dayle & Mary Bruhn of Prescott Valley Arizona, Russ & Lisa Bruhn of Carlsbad,California, and Tony & Carmen Bruhn of Rio Rico Arizona. Sisters & Spouses- Puanani & Domingo Bagcal of Rosemead, California, Makahala & Nobu Ishikawa of Alhambra, California, Kuulei & Charles Cottle of Aneheim, California and brother-in-law Frank Kaniaupio of Nanakuli, Hawaii. Grandchildren- Alex, Dana, Tony Jr., Stefanie, Tyler, Jordon, Eric, and Brianna. Winona is preceded in death by her sister Odetta Kaniaupio.
