It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, aunt, and friend, Alice "Peaches" Adrian. Her kindness, humor, and unwavering generosity of spirit touched all who knew her.
Alice began her distinguished teaching career at Hidalgo School in Brawley, California, but she discovered her true calling in Special Education at DeAnza School in El Centro. There she dedicated herself to helping special eduction students reach their fullest potential. This work earned her the Award of Educational Excellence from the State of California. Nothing brought her greater joy than meeting former students who shared how her encouragement and care had changed their lives.
In her retirement, Alice made her home in Prescott Valley, Arizona, which she delighted in the beauty of the desert landscape and the changing colors of each season.
Raised lovingly by her aunt, Alice grew up in a large and lively family of eleven children. She was the tenth in a line of nine sisters and one brother, with whom she shared a special bond, Her warmth and storytelling brought laughter to every gathering, keeping her family's vibrant history alive for generations.
