Betty’s faith in God and Christianity dealt her a strong foundation and anchor in life.
Betty grew up with 3 sisters: Viney, Sue, and Dawn. She then entered the Navy and served her beloved country for 23 years.
Betty was an ASU graduate and enjoyed a second career with the telephone company. While Betty didn’t have kids of her own, she was an aunt and a great aunt to many nieces and nephews. To which she adored and was very close with throughout her life.
She was extremely loving, compassionate, a good listener, and always knew just what to say to make you feel loved and understood. Her joys in life were her family, cats, and country. She loved reading and was an accomplished author. Her intelligence, one-of-a-kind wittiness and sarcasm were unmatched and always created a good laugh.
She is greatly loved and dearly missed.
