Beverly ?Jean? Stirpe died January 2, 2005, at her home in Prescott at the age of 72. She was born July 16, 1932, in New Ulm, MN, the daughter of Earl and Ruth (Sills) Anderson. She moved from California to Prescott in December of 1992. Jean was a member of the Sharlot Hall Museum and Yavapai Learning Institute, and she volunteered for the Prescott National Forest Service. She enjoyed being in nature, hiking, and exploring. She also enjoyed dancing, painting, sailing, art, history, and her family. Jean valued her independence and her home in the forest. She had a giving heart and a fun-loving spirit. Jean is survived by her daughters; Norine (Steve) Houtz of Tucson, Marina Maestas of Wheaton, IL, and Dianna Stirpe of Iowa City, IA. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Jade and Kenna. A celebration of Jean?s life will be Friday January 7, 2005, at 10:00AM at the AZ. Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St. Prescott. Burial will be private.
