Dale Richard Krueger, 71, passed away on November 23, 2024, in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Born on April 2, 1953, Dale grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where he began a life of creativity and craftsmanship that would always be part of his life. For the past nine years, he called Prescott Valley home, enjoying its sunshine and the quiet beauty of the desert.
If you asked him, he would say he is a carpenter by trade and an artist by desire. He had an exceptional ability to transform raw materials into beautiful, functional works of art. He also found joy in painting, using his creativity to bring vibrant pieces to life.
Dale was known for his wild sense of humor, a unique perspective that kept those around him entertained and sometimes shaking their heads. He had a larger-than-life personality and lived on his own terms, a drink or a cigarette often in hand, and always a story to tell.
He is survived by his two children, Jason Krueger and Corrin (Julio) Capeles, his grandchildren Julia (Steven) McGrath, Nathan Krueger, Eliana Capeles, Hendrix Capeles and his great granddaughter Mavis McGrath who cherish his memory and the unique legacy he leaves behind.
In honor of his memory the family encourages you to raise a glass and appreciate a good piece of art or craftsmanship—just as Dale would have loved.
