David Craig Heffner, 66, of Prescott Valley Arizona passed away on April 7th, 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones. A memorial was held for him on April 13th.
Born in California, on November 3rd, 1958, Dave served 4 years in the US Coast Guard. He spent most of his life working as a concrete finisher and was respected by clients and colleagues. He earned his bachelor’s degree in the science of information technology and graduated with honors.
Dave was a stabilizing force in the lives of the ones he loved; His steady, unwavering love soaked in and nourished the souls of his friends and family. He was a true friend. He didn’t usually have much to say, but what he did have to say was usually what needed to be said or was something really funny- sometimes it was both. He was a fantastic listener, incredibly patient, and was as generous as he could be. He modeled valuable life lessons such as integrity, work ethic, and moral responsibility. He instilled family values by the way he treated those he loved despite hardships. The world is a little dimmer without his light, but the impact of his life will shine on.
The memory of Dave will continue in the hearts of his 3 daughters, Tenniel, Jocelyn, and Nichole, their mother Shellie, his Siblings Doug, Lynn, and Sid and in the hearts of his nieces and nephews. His grandchildren Tonya, Adreana, Mayson, Sophia, Zipporah, Zechariah, Ian, Addilynn, Kai, and Aurora will also carry his memory, as will all those who knew and loved him.
