Donna L. Cannava (Donya) died in her Prescott, AZ residence on Friday, March 14, at the age of 76, after several years of health issues.
In the late 1960s, her adventurous, peaceful spirit called her westward, where she thrived. Schooled in the Maria Montessori Method, she nurtured and taught countless children while living in Austin, TX and then Tucson, AZ. Additionally, she took classes in The Trager Approach/Massage, Healing Touch, DNA/Theta Therapy, Energy Balancing, and Psychic Reading. She also shared her gifts of Intuitive Counseling, as well as Nutritional Counseling. As these abilities evolved throughout her many years of practice, they sustained her lifestyle as a paid, expert professional.
Donya was courageous, kind, caring, loving and generous. She was a lover of people, nature, dogs, and always had her hand in the garden. She was born/raised in a suburb of Cincinnati, OH, and is survived by her sisters, Nancy Thomas and Karen Bouldin, who still reside in Cincinnati.
