Eileen Brink passed away peacefully on October 30, 2026 at her home in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Her battle with a serious medical illness over the last several years showed her tremendous courage in facing life's challenges. She was born on September 25, 1956 in Troy, New York to Gordon and Mary McGrath. She attended Catholic Central High School in Troy and Plattsburgh University in New York before moving to Flagstaff, Arizona and attending Northern Arizona University. There she met John Brink, whom she married in 1978. She worked as a homemaker and parttime teacher until 2000, when she began a career with the federal government. She resigned from her career in 2016 and moved from Flagstaff to Prescott Valley with her husband in 2020. Eileen is survived by her husband John Brink, her children David Brink (Lisa), Stephen Brink (Becca), Jared Brink (Heather), and six grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Michael McGrath (Janet), Mary Ellen Laurin, Linda King (Glen), Patricia Martin (Patrick), James McGrath (Teri), Sheila McGrath (Rob) and 22 nieces and nephews.
She was a strong, supportive, loving wife and mother who had a sense of humor and always thought of others. She was a very industrious, enthusiastic, and active person who loved hiking, swimming, and working out at the gym. She will be missed more than words can say.
