Elmer 'Mac' Mccarty

Mac died Monday, June 24, 2013 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center-West in Prescott. He was born March 18, 1936 in Wilmington, Calif.; the son of Joseph and Ella McCarty. Mac was 77 years old. He married the love of his life, Virginia “Ginny” on June 27, 1959, celebrating just short their 54 years of marriage. Mac was a retired fire fighter and devout member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Ginny; daughters Eileen Eckendorf, Ronnie (Rich) Stifel, Kathy (Rick) Aranda, Laurie McCarty, and Melissa Coffey; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Fran Ruff; brother Nolan (Sharon) McCarty; and cousins Nel Botello and Donnie Vaughn.
