Erica Christine Simpson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Erica C. Simpson, 58, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Born as Erica Christine MacPartland on May 25, 1966 in Elmhurst, Illinois, the daughter of Douglas and Sigrid MacPartland. Erica Married her true love, Daniel E. Simpson on May 25, 1990 in Geneva, Illinois.

Erica graduated with an associate's degree in Drafting and owned her own business in Laser Engraving (now she's graduating again... to her Heavenly Home). Dan and Erica shared their deep love and commitment to their Catholic Faith and were very active at Mission Santa Maria (inc. singing in the choir and publishing the weekly bulletin). Erica was an avid reader, loved cooking and enjoyed many outdoor activities.

Erica is survived by her loving husband Dan and her six siblings: John MacPartland of Dover, Minnesota, David MacPartland (Paulette) of Exmore, Virginia, Janet Paggi (Jim) of Kamiah, Idaho, Richard MacParland (Laura), of Rochelle, Ilinois, Rachel Rosales (Curtis), Apache Junction, Arizona, RuthDean (Ryan), of Sycamore, Illinois: and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Douglas and Sigrid (Elver) MacPartland

Her Requiem Mass and Rosary will be celebrated on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Mission Santa Maria, 12820 Turquoise Circle, Dewey, AZ; followed by a graveside service (close by) at Heritage Memorial Cemetery, 12000 E. Heritage Memorial Lane, Dewey AZ. Celebration of life and lunch immediately following back at the Mission Santa Maria Church.
