Gene is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Joan Elaine Zimmerman. Their enduring marriage is a testament to their unwavering commitment and deep love for one another.
Gene was a proud father to three sons: Eugene (deceased), Dean, and Jon. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren—James, Nathan, and Simon—and his two precious great-grandchildren, Noah and Lorelei. He is also remembered fondly by his brother, Wayne.
