Gloria Brandt’s love for life and adventure continue after her death. Gloria passed away on April 18 at the young age of 90 after a full celebration of a life well lived. She passed surrounded by the love and support of family and friends.
And if you know Gloria, you know she lived life to the fullest. A disability caused by childhood polio never defined her but strengthened her character and love of life. Gloria created a beautiful family with Bud, who was waiting for her in heaven with sunflowers at hand. She often traveled through this country and Mexico capturing in her paintings the beauty of the Southwest. She equally enjoyed a quiet day in her beach house as well as hosting a full-house happy hour while drinking margaritas.
Gloria’s family will continue to honor her life by embracing it with her strength and perseverance. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Glenda; a son, Brad; daughter-in-law, Barbara; and two grandchildren who were her pride, Bradly and Zyanya.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Club Deportivo Foundation that Gloria was so passionate and actively fund raised for when she lived in Kino Bay, Mexico.
