James Edward Slechta

James "Jim" Edward Slecta died Friday, April16, 2010 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona. He was born August 25, 1942 in Alhambra, California; the son of Joseph and Mary (Susta) Slechta. Jim was 67 years old. Jim is survived by his loving and caring wife Joyce of Prescott Valley, Arizona. Children: Dale Slechta of Tucson, Arizona, David & Charlotte Baker of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Thomas Slechta of Buckeye, Arizona, Janette and Chris Nichols of Morrow, Washington, and Michelle Maldonado of Prescott, Arizona. Jim is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Brother: Al Slechta of Gilroy, California and cousin Milton Janowski of Boston, MA Also surviving Jim is his niece Tricia and nephew Richad. Jim will be greatly missed by his family as well as his church family.
