Joan Audrey Fairchild Lang

Joan passed away December 6, 2012, in Prescott, Arizona. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Rev. Wayne V. Lang, her 3 sons, Mark Philip Lang, David Wayne Lang and Neal Steven Lang, as well as by her sister, Barbara Fairchild Thiemann, brother-in-law, Ralph Thiemann, sister-in-law, Marlene Lang Wreza, 6 grandchildren, 2 nephews and a niece. Joan was the first of 2 children to Morton and Eleanor Fairchild, born November 25, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, where she was raised. In addition to her loving duties as wife and mother, Joan was a life-long church organist and pianist, and a devoted Christian her entire life. Since 1992, Joan has resided in Prescott with her husband, after they retired from 42 years of ministry in the Midwest.
