Jonatan Roman Mendoza

The family of Jonatan Mendoza Roman is deeply saddened to announce that Jonny, 38, of Prescott Valley, AZ, passed away on June 25, 2026. Born on December 19, 1987, in Guerrero, Mexico.

Jonny lived a full and remarkable life. He touched the hearts of everyone he met through his warm and caring personality.

He graduated from Chino Valley High School. After graduating, he went on to become a blue-collar hardworking man with fulfilling careers framing homes and then on to managing the automotive shop SouthWest Auto. Outside of work, he especially loved being outdoors hiking and visiting lakes and rivers. He enjoyed exploring new places and taking his family with him. Jonny dedicated his life to his wife and their two daughters. He was a devoted family man and was a cherished friend to many in our community.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Tiana Mendoza, daughters Vanessa and Mila Mendoza; his mother Elodia Roman Villalobos, stepfather Jose Ramirez, and by his siblings Josue Mendoza Roman, Noemi Mendoza Roman, Jesus Mendoza Roman, and Abigail Mendoza Roman. Jonny was deeply loved and will forever be missed.

A memorial service will be held on July 17, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Home, 8480 E Valley Rd, Prescott Valley, AZ 86303. All who cared for Jonny are welcome.
