Joyce Lucy Eichinger

PRESCOTT, AZ - Joyce Lucy Eichinger passed away March 18 in
Prescott, AZ. Joyce was eldest of nine children born 12/22/24 on farm
in Brussels, Wisconsin. Her parents were Lena & Arthur Neuville. She received a teaching degree from Algoma Normal & started teaching at 18 in a one room school in Door County. She married
Calvin Eichinger in 1946 & raised three children while teaching & completing her bachelor of science degree from St Norbert College, where she was part of the first class to accept women. Joyce had boundless energy & drive. She continued on to receive Masters in counseling from Stout State. She was a teacher, counselor, & school psychologist in the Green Bay schools for over 30 years. She
inspired & mentored many along the way. Her spirit will live on in her three children (Suzanne Tomfohr Prescott AZ, Sally Stephenson Mesa AZ, Calvin Eichinger Littleton CO), six grandchildren, & 5 great grandchildren.
