Kimberly Ann Walsh, 58, was unexpectedly taken to be with Our Heavenly Father on April 15, 2025. Kim, known as ‘YaYa’ by her granddaughter and ‘Kimmy’ by her best friends, was a native to Phoenix, Arizona and in recent years, made her final home in Prescott, Arizona. She was a 1985 graduate of Cortez High School and held a 20+ year career with American Express and was a current employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona for the past 10 years; where she held the befitting position of welcoming & training new hires within the Health Management Division.
Kim’s life was a reflection of joy with a little kick of attitude, that made anyone within her vicinity feel good. She had such a gracious heart, resilient spirit and lived a life of love, laughter, and generosity, along with being a health & exercise enthusiast and a momentary motorcycle rider.
She had an admirable inner strength and heartfelt determination that she put forth in her friendships, taking care of her family, and creatively turning someone’s junk into someone else’s treasure. She had a knack and excitement for vintage shopping and refinishing old furniture into something beautiful; which is the pure example of how she could grace a bad day into the best day.
Psalm 16:11
You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.
Her unwavering soul touched everyone who met her and she will be missed by many. As we say goodbye to our dear friend and family member, may the joys and smiles she graced this world with be aspired to and reflected in the lives of those she left behind. As Kimmy would say, “Ciao Baby”.
Kimberly was survived by her mother, Audrey Dryfhout; daughter Kiara MacEachern (Parker); granddaughter Kinsley; sister Kristen Ayars (Alan); nephews Taylor & Parker; niece Aleah and her dog Willow. She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Dryfhout.
A special thank you to the MacEachern & Ayars families, cousin Roxanne Eikenberry (Shane) and friends and family that provided prayers, support and kept our spirits high. We are grateful.
