Linda Lee Purdin (Gill), of Cottonwood, Arizona, was called home to Heaven at the age of 75 on June 10th, 2025 under the compassionate care of Marley House in Prescott, Arizona. Linda was born in Prescott on January 7th, 1950.
Linda lived in Douglas, Arizona for a time before moving to Cottonwood where she graduated from Mingus Union High School. She later settled in Prescott, where she raised her children, worked at Yavapai Guidance Clinic, and operated a meat processing business with her husband, David in Chino Valley. After retiring, David and Linda returned to Cottonwood where they enjoyed a quiet and peaceful life together.
Linda and David shared 45 loving years together, building a life filled with devotion, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys. They were rarely apart, often spending time going out to lunch, wandering the woods, hunting, or shooting their bows side by side. Over the years, Linda lovingly cared for many pets, enjoyed watching football, and baking. She and David took pride in hosting countless family holidays and birthday celebrations, filling their home with love, laughter, and the warmth of togetherness. While her happiest moments were when the entire family was gathered, the steady companionship she shared with David remained one of the greatest joys of her life.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, David Purdin, her brother Jim Gill, sister Debbie Grant, her two children Cassie Gahr (Scott) and Bryan Williams (Veronica); grandchildren, Johnathan Gahr, Katie Gahr, Megan Redfern, and Sean Williams; four great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
We cherish all the memories we have and mourn the loss of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. Her love and presence will be missed beyond words, but her spirit will remain forever in our hearts.
